Centro Escolar Cedros was built with the help of a group of parents concerned about their children's education and inspired by the initiative of St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer.
1967
It opened its doors, showing the country its innovative educational model, which emphasized academics, integral formation, and personalized attention.
1970
The Sports Department and the academic sphere were promoted.
1990:
The bilingual educational model was consolidated, and the Department of Art and Culture was promoted, fostering the creation of children´s ensembles and orchestras.
2010:
The use of technology as a means of learning was promoted, and the Robotics project was launched. A new impulse was given to the School for Parents (CEF).
2014:
We received "Advanced" accreditation, now "Cognia".
2018:
The trilingual learning model was consolidated, with French as a third language, and the Cedros Dome was inaugurated.
2019:
The use of iPads as a learning tool was introduced with the program "Tech Learn and Play".
The Neurolearning area was created, where students develop sensory skills that greatly benefit their learning processes.
2020:
Coping with COVID-19 pandemic, the Cedros' educational model successfully transitioned to a 100% online format.
2023:
Centro Escolar Cedros is transformed into Cedros International School, solidifying its position as a forward-thinking institution with a unique model, becoming the most comprehensive school in Mexico.
