With a diversity of environments and resources for learning and recreation, the classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a design intended to facilitate work in a well-lit and comfortable environment.
History
1966
Cedros School was built with the help of a group of parents concerned about their children's education and encouraged by the initiative of St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer.
1967
It opened its doors, showing the country its innovative educational model, which emphasized academics, integral formation, and personalized attention.
1970
The sports and academic areas are promoted.
1990:
The bilingual model is consolidated because of the world's growing needs. In the artistic part, the Department of Art and Culture Music is promoted, encouraging the creation of ensembles and children's orchestras.
2010:
The use of technology as a means of learning is promoted. The Robotics project, is born and a new impulse is given to the School for Parents (CEF).
2014:
We received Advanced accreditation from Cognia.
2018:
The trilingual learning model is consolidated, considering French as a third language.
The Cedros Dome is inaugurated.
2019:
The use of iPads as a learning tool is introduced with the "Tech, Learn and Play" program.
Areas for neurolearning were created where students develop sensory skills that greatly benefit the learning processes.
2020:
Coping with the pandemic caused by COVID-19, Cedros' educational model successfully migrated 100% online.
2023:
Centro Escolar Cedros is transformed into Cedros International School, which consolidates itself as a school from now on with a unique model, becoming the most complete school in Mexico.
